| Transforming Myth engages with issues of gender and the legacy of Greek myth in a series of photography-based installations. Each piece is based on a female mythic figure and offers a contemporary reinterpretation of her story through the interweaving of poetry and visual images. The structure of the pieces together with powerful black-and-white montaged images and poignant phrases from accompanying poems create a dramatic effect, drawing the viewer into a personal response to each myth.
